Complete Family Dentistry
Family dentistry means we will take care of every member of the family starting with young children at age 3 to senior citizens. Complete dentistry means that we can perform virtually all phases of dentistry depending on the needs of the patient. With the exception of very special dental conditions, we do not have to refer specialty dentistry to specialists outside the practice. So, our patients do not have to be shuttled to various specialists for root canals, extractions, cosmetic dentistry, gum disease treatment, TMJ related disorders or orthodontics. This can result in great savings in the cost of your dentistry when you don't have to pay premium specialty fees.
Pediatric or Kids Care Dentistry
Dr. Hatland has gently taken care of hundreds of very young pediatric patients and has a very well trained and congenial staff to help younger patients with their dental care. Many innovative and effective non drug alternative techniques can be used to make the appointment a positive, low stress experience. Nitrous Oxide analgesia (the “Magic Carpet Ride”) is also available to help his patients have a very pleasant experience. Functional and standard orthodontic treatment is available for kids. Because Dr. Hatland is trained in orthodontics and pediatric dentistry, many times interceptive orthodontics, which takes advantage of the growth and development of the jaw can be done at a much earlier age. This can save the patient from having to have much more expensive full orthodontics in the early teen years. Also, only the finest non-Mercury filling materials are used. Six-month recall examinations and cleanings are strongly recommended.
Adult Family Members
Adult patients are welcomed and make up the greatest percentage of the practice. Gentle and expert care can be expected. All dental procedures are done including:
cosmetic porcelain veneers and onlays, biologically compatible (non-Mercury) and aesthetic white fillings for all teeth, crowns and bridges, root canals using biocalex (including molars), partial and full dentures, orthodontics, reverse gum disease program (highly effective in early to advanced states) expert treatment of painful and destructive TMJ related disorders. Holistic and energetic techniques (including lasers) to eliminate anxiety, pain and speed up healing.
